I am absolutely head over heels for this Barbie pink sweater! Most of you have probably seen the corset sweater trend and I honestly didn’t think I could pull it off, but this particular sweater is so flattering! It also comes in white and I am so tempted to order it as well.
My fall color crush is most definitely olive green! It is such a pretty color for the fall months! It pairs well with so many different colors – especially taupes and blushes! I’ve rounded up some of my favorite olive pieces for you!
1 // Gap t-shirt dress: I love the 3-quarter length sleeve on this one and the length is perfect! I have an olive green swing dress that I layer with cozy cardis and plaid scarves in the fall.
2 // H&M oversized sweater: You really can never have enough oversized sweaters in your closet. This deep-v one is great for layering and is long enough to be worn with leggings. This one also comes in grey and pink (under $35!)
6 // Boohoo suede mini: This one may not exactly be olive but this color goes great with it! Comes in 2 other colors.
7 // Express camo skinnies: There are so many ways to make camo look chic! I love the colors in this pair. So pretty to wear with neutrals.
8 // Joe Fresh drape front cardigan: For years I avoided drape front cardigans but now I can’t get enough of them. I love this shade of olive and the way it drapes beautifully! It also comes in a few other colors.
9 // BP oversized sunnies: You guys know my obsession with a good pair of oversized sunnies. This shape is so fun and they’re only $14!
10 // Charlotte Russe velvet booties: I really love booties that have the slits on the sides because they are so comfortable. These velvets ones are on trend and a beautiful color to pair with olive!
Now if only the temperatures would reflect how my closet currently feels so I can break out all the sweaters! Do you have a color crush this fall?

It is so close to Friday I can taste it! There is a UGA home game this weekend so we are definitely looking forward to relaxing and taking a break from work!
I think this is one of my favorite outfits to date! The colors, the 70s vibe, EVERYTHING!
I never ever thought that I would wear yellow or even a color close to yellow, but I am SO obsessed with this deep, marigold-ish, mustard color! Brighter colors are really having their moment this fall: yellows, pinks, reds, emeralds. I am all about wearing all black, but sometimes you have to brighten things up a bit!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was jam-packed but well-spent with friends and family. I took Friday off from my day job and got to spend some quality time with my mom and dad. Since we moved almost 2 hours away from our families, it’s been tough to see them. I was so thankful for a fay full of shopping and catching up!
Saturday my best friend and I surprised our husbands with tickets to a concert. If you guys don’t already know, my husband and I are biggggg nerds – Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, Harry Potter, Pokémon…you name it, we love it! We went to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra perform movie scores by the legendary John Williams. We were GEEKING OUT BUT IT’S FINE.
Now for the reason you guys actually read my blog – FASHION! I have been so excited to share this pretty dress with you guys! It is just the cutest dress to transition into fall. I can’t wait to wear it with a wide brim fedora, booties, or even some of my thigh high boots! The colors are insanely gorgeous and the pattern mixing is just so boho-chic!
I love dresses that can take you through multiple seasons. I linked some other really pretty bell sleeve options for you in the widget below. I REALLY think I need this leopard one!
What are some of your favorite ways to transition your dresses to fall?
Anyone else over the hot and sticky Georgia weather? I know I am definitely ready for fall! I am seeing so many cozy sweaters, cute booties, cardis, and scarves. If only we could wear them now…
There are so many ways you can wear some of these pieces now and later as the temps drop.
Layering My favorite way to take some of your summer pieces into fall is layering a lightweight cardigan over a tank. Here in Georgia we see warmer weather all the way through until October so I don’t break out the chunky knit cardigans until mid-October-November. This lightweight cardigan I am wearing above is the PERFECT transition piece and easy to throw on over so many outfits.
Bring out the booties I love to wear my booties with cutoff shorts and summer dresses! My outfit would be perfect with my new taupe booties I just bought but let’s be real…. it was over 90 degrees when we were shooting this look so these cute sandals worked perfectly. Which brings me to my next point…
Stretch out sandal season If you want to break out some heavier fall items like a new slouchy sweater and ripped denim, you can pair some sandals with them to make it a more transitional outfit.
Fall colors Light khaki green, tans, and whites are perfect for fall transition! I save my dark military greens, rusts, and deep mustardy yellows for when the temperature drops a little more.
I also wanted to talk a little bit about this tank top! It comes in 9 colors and is under $60 It is one of my very favorite layering pieces. I love to wear it under blazers, dusters, and kimonos and I can’t wait to wear it under cozy knits! I linked other cute cami options at different price points for you below.
