Color crush: olive, I love you

fall color trend olive green

My fall color crush is most definitely olive green! It is such a pretty color for the fall months! It pairs well with so many different colors – especially taupes and blushes! I’ve rounded up some of my favorite olive pieces for you!

1 // Gap t-shirt dress: I love the 3-quarter length sleeve on this one and the length is perfect! I have an olive green swing dress that I layer with cozy cardis and plaid scarves in the fall.

2 // H&M oversized sweater: You really can never have enough oversized sweaters in your closet. This deep-v one is great for layering and is long enough to be worn with leggings. This one also comes in grey and pink (under $35!)

3 // Free People high rise skinnies: I love the destroyed look of these skinnies! There are only a few sizes left, but they’re on sale for under $50!

4 // H&M cropped sweater: I love the high neck and drawstring detail on this one!

5 // Camo scarf: I love the pops of pink in this one!

6 // Boohoo suede mini: This one may not exactly be olive but this color goes great with it! Comes in 2 other colors.

7 // Express camo skinnies: There are so many ways to make camo look chic! I love the colors in this pair. So pretty to wear with neutrals.

8 // Joe Fresh drape front cardigan: For years I avoided drape front cardigans but now I can’t get enough of them. I love this shade of olive and the way it drapes beautifully! It also comes in a few other colors.

9 // BP oversized sunnies: You guys know my obsession with a good pair of oversized sunnies. This shape is so fun and they’re only $14!

10 // Charlotte Russe velvet booties: I really love booties that have the slits on the sides because they are so comfortable. These velvets ones are on trend and a beautiful color to pair with olive!

Now if only the temperatures would reflect how my closet currently feels so I can break out all the sweaters! Do you have a color crush this fall?

Gluten free pantry staples I always have on hand

glute free pantry staples

After feeling terrible, bloated, and so sick for years after I ate every meal I finally decided to go see a doctor. I went to a bio-energetic doctor and she diagnosed me with severe gluten intolerance and a number of other allergies. I cut gluten out of my diet and within just a few days I felt like a new human being! I had no idea what it felt like to feel normal after eating. No amount of bread and cake is worth the fever chills, bloating, nausea, stomach aches, and brain fogs!

Over the past couple of years, I have learned so much about living a gluten free lifestyle and how easy it is. I’ve made a list of the gluten free staples I love to keep handy:

It is so close to Friday I can taste it! There is a UGA home game this weekend so we are definitely looking forward to relaxing and taking a break from work!

I think this is one of my favorite outfits to date! The colors, the 70s vibe, EVERYTHING!

I never ever thought that I would wear yellow or even a color close to yellow, but I am SO obsessed with this deep, marigold-ish, mustard color! Brighter colors are really having their moment this fall: yellows, pinks, reds, emeralds. I am all about wearing all black, but sometimes you have to brighten things up a bit!

Happy Anniversary to the love of my life!

Wedding Photography, Ballgown, couple, wedding portraitToday marks 3 years of marriage with my love! These have been the most wonderful years so far. We’ve traveled, bought our first home, sold our first home, made a big move, laughed, and created so many memories. With Zack, life is simply better.

Zack has no idea I was planning to post about our wedding today, but I really want him to know that I truly am my best self when I am with him. I may not remember what songs we danced to, what our food tasted like (maybe that’s because we didn’t get to eat 🙂 ), what my makeup looked like, but I remember what walking down the aisle to him felt like. This was the man who I will spend the rest of my days with and I look forward to every single one.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was jam-packed but well-spent with friends and family. I took Friday off from my day job and got to spend some quality time with my mom and dad. Since we moved almost 2 hours away from our families, it’s been tough to see them. I was so thankful for a fay full of shopping and catching up!

Saturday my best friend and I surprised our husbands with tickets to a concert. If you guys don’t already know, my husband and I are biggggg nerds – Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, Harry Potter, Pokémon…you name it, we love it! We went to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra perform movie scores by the legendary John Williams. We were GEEKING OUT BUT IT’S FINE.

Now for the reason you guys actually read my blog – FASHION! I have been so excited to share this pretty dress with you guys! It is just the cutest dress to transition into fall.  I can’t wait to wear it with a wide brim fedora, booties, or even some of my thigh high boots! The colors are insanely gorgeous and the pattern mixing is just so boho-chic!

I love dresses that can take you through multiple seasons. I linked some other really pretty bell sleeve options for you in the widget below. I REALLY think I need this leopard one!

What are some of your favorite ways to transition your dresses to fall?
