It is so close to Friday I can taste it! There is a UGA home game this weekend so we are definitely looking forward to relaxing and taking a break from work!
I think this is one of my favorite outfits to date! The colors, the 70s vibe, EVERYTHING!
I never ever thought that I would wear yellow or even a color close to yellow, but I am SO obsessed with this deep, marigold-ish, mustard color! Brighter colors are really having their moment this fall: yellows, pinks, reds, emeralds. I am all about wearing all black, but sometimes you have to brighten things up a bit!
Today marks 3 years of marriage with my love! These have been the most wonderful years so far. We’ve traveled, bought our first home, sold our first home, made a big move, laughed, and created so many memories. With Zack, life is simply better.
Zack has no idea I was planning to post about our wedding today, but I really want him to know that I truly am my best self when I am with him. I may not remember what songs we danced to, what our food tasted like (maybe that’s because we didn’t get to eat 🙂 ), what my makeup looked like, but I remember what walking down the aisle to him felt like. This was the man who I will spend the rest of my days with and I look forward to every single one.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was jam-packed but well-spent with friends and family. I took Friday off from my day job and got to spend some quality time with my mom and dad. Since we moved almost 2 hours away from our families, it’s been tough to see them. I was so thankful for a fay full of shopping and catching up!
Saturday my best friend and I surprised our husbands with tickets to a concert. If you guys don’t already know, my husband and I are biggggg nerds – Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, Harry Potter, Pokémon…you name it, we love it! We went to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra perform movie scores by the legendary John Williams. We were GEEKING OUT BUT IT’S FINE.
Now for the reason you guys actually read my blog – FASHION! I have been so excited to share this pretty dress with you guys! It is just the cutest dress to transition into fall. I can’t wait to wear it with a wide brim fedora, booties, or even some of my thigh high boots! The colors are insanely gorgeous and the pattern mixing is just so boho-chic!
I love dresses that can take you through multiple seasons. I linked some other really pretty bell sleeve options for you in the widget below. I REALLY think I need this leopard one!
What are some of your favorite ways to transition your dresses to fall?

Yes it is after Labor Day and yes I am wearing white. Not wearing white after Labor Day is a fashion rule that I am definitely okay with breaking. Some of my favorite fall and winter outfits involve cozy white or cream sweaters and white denim (I have these in my cart now!) It is still in the mid-upper 80s most days in September here in Georgia so it still definitely feels like summer for most of the day. You will be seeing me in fall and winter whites for sure this season!
This white one shoulder ruffle top is just so fun and can easily be dressed up or down. I came across this top at TJ Maxx and it was only $16! I linked a few options in the widget below for under $25. I even found a long sleeve version that will be great for fall!
These Blank NYC flares fit me like a glove and are the perfect length for taller girls! If you’re shorter, then you can easily wear some wedges so they don’t drag the ground. The best part about them – they are pull on! No buttons to fuss with, but they still have functional pockets. These exact ones are selling out fast and are only available in limited sizes so I linked another pair that is similar, but are real jeans that button.
What about you? Do you love wearing white after Labor Day?
Sunday was my birthday and I could not have asked for a more perfect weekend! Saturday we met up with our best friends and drove up to the North Georgia Mountains and the weather was just insanely gorgeous! We played games, ate cookies, and just spent quality time with our favorite people.
Since Zack has been so busy with school I figured we would hang around the house so he could work on Sunday. BUT, being the sweet husband he is, made Sunday all about spending quality time with me! He took me to a delicious brunch, let me drag him around to a few shops around town, and just focused on me. It’s the little things 🙂
I was so excited to be able to finally dress for fall! Since it was my birthday, I just decided to throw all my favorite things in my closet together! I call this pink hat my Gaga hat (um Joanne album cover anyone?) and I couldn’t be more obsessed! I wore it all weekend. I saw it at a local boutique called Cheeky Peach and I immediately knew it had to be in my ever-growing hat collection. My sweet little spotted clutch and grey dress are recent finds from TJ Maxx, but I linked several very similar options in the widget below for you. And these booties… I cannot say enough about my favorite booties. I found the leopard print version here! They were a very special birthday present from my mom 2 years ago and I still just swoon over them! Luckily for me all my favorite things seem to go together!
